JOHN E. KASKEY, ESQUIRE

John Kaskey is a founder of the firm and its senior transactional lawyer.  John’s unique skill set of corporate and business law, tax law and bankruptcy renders him a master at resolving intricate business issues.  His masterful approach to his clients’ financial issues produces virtually unassailable results for them.

John served as a law clerk to Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Anthony M. Kennedy (now Supreme Court Justice Kennedy).  He is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers™ (exclusive to those who have achieved the Highest Possible Peer Review Rating in both the Legal Ability and Ethical Standards) and is a perennially named Super Lawyer®, among other honors.  He has handled some of the most significant bankruptcies of business organizations, as well as the transactions, bank workouts and tax issues related to a wide array of  businesses, and has insured the success of businesses of all sizes and focus.

John earned a B.S./B.A. from Bucknell University in 1978.  He graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, magna cum laude, in 1981, where he also was a Member, Order of the Coif and the Traynor Society.  He received an LL.M. from New York University School of Law in 1982, where he was a member of the Law Review.  He has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at Temple University.  John is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
